Justine es una joven que se ha criado en una familia donde todos son vegetarianos y veterinarios. Al ingresar en la facultad de veterinaria, la joven ve como todo su mundo se rompe y descubre otra realidad decadente y seductora. Obsesionada por encajar entre sus compañeros, se aleja de sus principios y come carne cruda por primera vez. Las consecuencias de este acto llegan pronto, y la joven descubrirá su verdadera naturaleza.
